Book Review: His Naughty Valentine By Sue Lyndon

Okay, what is more terrifying...someone reading your diary or getting a glimpse at your browser history? If you keep a diary, even there most people sort of self-edit and don't always reveal all their innermost thoughts, in part because they might not even be aware of all their true feelings and desires.
But, browser history doesn't lie. And neither do those pictures you've downloaded.

And this, my friends, is what happens to Lacey when her fiance accidentally spills coffee on his laptop and he rushes to use Lacey's laptop to join an online meeting for work.

Lacey and Kaden have a loving, but rather ordinary, sex life. Lacey wants to tell Kaden about her desire to be spanked and scolded, but she fears his reaction. Things change when Kaden gets a gander at the naughty photos and stories downloaded on Lacey's laptop.

In true Sue Lyndon style, this is a fun, sexy, steamy book that also includes some role play.

This is a quick read. Just the thing to get you in the mood for your own hot Valentine's Day.

Only 99 cents and free for Kindle Unlimited Members.

Book Review: Cowboy Games by Audrey Randall

Yee-Haw! This was one sexy read! Audrey Randall is a new author for me and this was a fun book.

Lana is a professional gamer (a career path I'd never considered). She and her best friend want to start a camp to teach girls about coding and when another online gamer invites her to Montana to see if his family's ranch would be a good option, she makes the trip.

When she arrives and finds that her host is a 17 year old high school student, she's a little taken aback.

But, it's the high schooler's older brother, Jesse, who takes her breath away.

There were several aspects of this book that I enjoyed. I remember playing Pong and I sucked at it. Yes, I sucked at playing Pong, the world's slowest, simplest video game. And yes, I am that old.

So, the idea of a romance novel that includes professional gamers, international travel for tournaments, and this many joysticks was new and interesting for me.

Cody, the younger brother, is a fun character. He's got a crush on Lana and though he's told his older brother (who owns the ranch due to the death of their parents) that Lana is coming for a visit, he didn't mention that he'd invited her on the pretext that the ranch could be used for the girls' coding camp. He's an endearing character and I can relate to the whole high school crush and trying to compete with his sexy brother for Lana's attention.

The attraction between Lana and Jesse is immediate and scorching hot. Things get complicated when Cody finds out that his brother is using his joystick on Lana.

Sci Fi Romance Review---Claimed By The Cyborg by Cara Bristol

Five curly stars for Claimed By The Cyborg by Cara Bristol

My stars are looking more like starfish.

I was going to try to flatten them out by wetting them and then putting a weight on them, like a heavy pan or book, until they dry.

But then I decided they work perfectly for this book because it's toe-curlingly sexy!

March and Jules met five years ago when Jules was an interstellar exchange student at a university on Earth and March was a teaching assistant. Their relationship was like a movie montage of romance and hot sex. Young and attractive with their whole lives ahead of them.

Well, until that night when Jules packed up and left without saying good-bye.

Time went on, March bonked a few more women but none of them replaced Jules. And along the way there was an accident and he was transformed from a sexy academic into a cyborg.

This brings us to the current story. March has an assignment to deliver a spacecraft to Xenia, Jules' home planet. He'll only have a few hours on the planet, but has decided to spend them attempting to locate the elusive Jules.

Imagine his surprise when he realizes that Jules is actually Princess Julietta, eldest daughter of the emperor, and that the spacecraft he's delivering is meant to be a gift for her and her soon-to-be-mate.

At this point, you're probably assuming that the man who is to become Julietta's mate is a big jerk. I know that's what I expected. But he wasn't. Even March liked him.

Argh. Now what? There's the hero that I know she's supposed to end up with, but the guy she's expected to marry is charming and attractive. Plus, Xenia is a country where monogamy is considered sort of a sentimental weakness. Hmm. Could this turn into some sort of interstellar threesome?

Nope. March, a possessive and dominant warrior, has no interest in sharing. But how can he and Julietta be together when tradition, the seer and potential political upheaval are against them? And then there's the plot to frame March for murder.

You'll have to buy your own copy to find out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I highly recommend this book. It is well written and professionally edited. I know when I pick up a Cara Bristol book I won't be jabbing a knitting needle in my eye over typos, grammar errors or cliches.

In addition, the descriptions are lush without being over the top and the pacing and plot keep the pages flipping.

This book includes hot sex, a two hundred year old woman with funky tufts of hair, unusual animals, state sanctioned fighting for women, and several people who are not exactly as they appear.
